Tag, You're It!

Remember those tags I mentioned that my mom wanted me to make for her?  I have been meaning to show you what she did with them because it is such a simple and cute idea!


I used plain, inexpensive white tags, distressed them with chalk ink, then labeled them with alphabet stamps.  


I gave them to my mom and she then used twine to tie them on items in her kitchen.  I love what she did with this tiered basket stand...bags of treats are also tied with twine and ready to share!



And her canisters of flour and sugar now have a personal, cozy touch!


And in case you were wondering, those are two homemade-by-Mom tomato pies.  Oh my, my, my!  She used this recipe from one of my blogs past!


These tags were such a simple little project that added just the right touch to her fall kitchen!
