A glimpse into the life of a real family - ours.
We're busy. Sometimes crazy busy. Occasionally, life gets chaotic.
But we love each other deeply. God is first in our lives, and then each other. There is laughter and love and beauty in this home we share.
And as I journey this somewhat chaotic life with the family I love, there are moments when I have to sit back, take a sip of my coffee with extra cream, and smile as I realize something very valuable...I am content.

Tag, You're It!
Remember those tags I mentioned that my mom wanted me to make for her? I have been meaning to show you what she did with them because it is such a simple and cute idea!
I used plain, inexpensive white tags, distressed them with chalk ink, then labeled them with alphabet stamps.
I gave them to my mom and she then used twine to tie them on items in her kitchen. I love what she did with this tiered basket stand...bags of treats are also tied with twine and ready to share!
And her canisters of flour and sugar now have a personal, cozy touch!
And in case you were wondering, those are two homemade-by-Mom tomato pies. Oh my, my, my! She used this recipe from one of my blogs past!
These tags were such a simple little project that added just the right touch to her fall kitchen!
