Simply Lovely!

I am telling you, the change of seasons always gets my creative juices flowing, and I have to do something with my creative energy or I will burst!  I love simple though, and I arranged a tabletop that I am really enjoying with simple decorations that I helped create.

This brushed gold black pumpkin was as easy as dabbing on metallic gold paint, then brushing it over the surface of the pumpkin.

Some sparkly autumn ribbon helped finish the look.  I made two, one for me and one for my mom for her birthday.

I also decorated this gold charger for her with rub-on letters, some ribbon, and a felt sticker.

But since the chargers were on sale 2 for $3, I went ahead and used some rub-on letters and sprigs of fall foliage to decorate one for my home.

I took a canning jar out of my cabinet and stuffed it with some scrap burlap, then added some more fall flowers for a cozy, natural look.

I set my three simple creations in place...

And I ended up with a simply lovely fall tabletop that makes me smile inside every time I pass by!  'Tis the gift to be simple, or so the song goes, and oh how I ever want to thankful be!

As for the table itself, I can't wait to tell you about that...someday soon!  I just have to use my creative energy to finish one more project and I'll share the fun and details with you!

What are you making with your creative energy these days?  Would love to hear!

Joining the fun at Tabletop Tuesday!  Thankful I stumbled upon this.  It's inspiring to see the creativity of others, and the love that goes into their homes!
